Some mighty fine rifles you guys have there for sure.
I've been shooting a Remington model 541-S in 22 long rifle for many years. It's one super nice little rifle, accurate in all respects, and the trigger I adjusted down so sweet that it's just a pleasure. Many squirrels have dropped with that one, as well as starlings and such.
My go-to rifle for crows is a CZ 452 American, 17 HMR.
6mm,,, Nice guns.. Actually,,, lots of nice pieces!!!
A wise man once told me that the best way to judge a Rifleman was to look at his Rimfires..
Not as nice a some, but here's mine..
Remington 504 in 22LR.. Wears a 3-9 Sightron in Warne rings.
1946 K22,, All numbers matching,, first post WW2 K22's made. Only 1700 made untill mid 1947 when Smith made some design changes to the K frame Masterpiece's..
Still going strong on a diet of Mini-Mag's
WebbyAr15, The sight is an older Tasco Optima 2000.. It has since been replaced with a BSA 42mm red dot to add a little more barrel weight for steel plate speed shooting...
The little Optima is really great for general plinking and training yourself to shoot with both eyes open for both general and competition shooting..It's very light weight and doesn't require much room in a gun bag or rug...
I started using a hammerli pneuma .22 cal pcp air rifle this year. great shooting gun with good knock down. have enen taken coons to about 30 yards with head shots.
Boy that Mod 54 rings my bell. Brought one back from Germany years ago and haven't a clue why I let go of it. Just getting back into small game and going to use my S&W Mod 16 32 S&W Long and my AyA double in 410. Have a mod 62 Win pump but seldom ever shoot rim fires anymore. Also have another AyA inn 28ga just like the 410.
For tree rats in the early season I start out with either a Mossberg pump 12 gauge or a Stephens single shot 12 gauge and very rarely a Stephens .410 single shot and after the leaves start dropping I switch over to a Remington 597 .22lr topped with a VXII or a 10/22 that wers a Nikon
then in our late season use a Savage 93R17 hmr topped with a VXII.
It still amazes me at the distance that little HMR can shoot. Those things are great.

I'm in the process of building a custom 32cal Flintlock, but it isn't done yet.
This past week I was chasing them with just the pistol. That was fun too. I only snapped one picture but we have shot quite a few this past week.
so can i ask what kinda scope you plan on puttin on that 32 cal!!! just playing actually i wanna know where are you finding black sqwerrls the only place i have seen them is around ashland university.i want a nice big one to get mounted
In some area's of the NorthEast corner of Michigan (in the Lower Peninsula) we kill Black Squirrels almost exclusively. They are the predominant squirrels in that area. I've never killed one that had anywhere near the size of foxsquirrels though.
LOL....I hope I don't need a scope on the little Flinter, the little 32 Caplock shoots pretty good without one. This was 3 shots at 25 yards shot while working up a load for it. I run 25gr of FFF Goex Blackpowder under a patched roundball.
