Night vision info for everyone!

Looking to get in to night hunting ! I know nothing about night vision !I shoot a savage model 12 223 and have been thinking about getting n/v but I am not looking to be put in the poor house to get set up so any info will help in getting set up ???looking to be be shooting no more than 150 yards . Any info will be VERY helpful
