Ive done various equip. operating jobs servicing the oil industry (6 yrs) including downhole treating, haulin' oil, etc.

Now I am currently employed with a roustabout outfit owned by my dad and pretty much get to do all the all the "catch all" stuff. Invoices, catchin' crooks, fleet maintainence, inventory, purchases, etc.

A guy stays pretty darn busy when he aint got a title. So I'll give myself one, "Manuel". /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I have farmed most of my life but now am in SW Iowa and operate commercial fertilizer rigs and sprayers- commercial applicator. I get to see alot of areas for hunting so I try to remember where I have been and the name of the landowner.

Helicopter business. Most of my work is cattle round-ups, also do game surveys, game captures, and predator control. Have had some doozies though, like hovering around all day to dry out a tractor pull track, also baseball fields and roping arena or two.

Small operation, I'm the omly pilot and have only one aircraft.

I'm a union pipe-fitter. I try to pick the jobs that have tons of overtime from late winter until early fall, and then I take off in Nov. and Dec. for hunting and to be around the family for the holidays! Life is sure good since my kids growed up and fledged the nest! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Dad and mentor to my four children first and then, I started out as a (go-fer) for my dad 20 years ago in custom homes, and took over the company some 16 years ago, General Contractor I guess is my title and really love what I do.

Tommy-That's too funny and too true. If you don't have a title then you don't get a job description. And that just means that you get to do everything that nobody else wants to do in addition to what they hired you for in the first place.

I work for myself is another good one. I now know what that means. It means that I have a different boss everyday and some of them are cool and some of them are real ass*%&#s. It also means that whatever nasty, demeaning, back-breaking task needs to be done, I get to do it. Yep, you can call me Manuel too /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif .
