What muzzleloader are you shooting??

T/C Encore 209x50
Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40
BH 209 - 73.5grs weighed
Harvester Crush Rib Sabot
Scorpion PT Gold 300gr .452" or Barnes Xpander 300gr .452"

This season I am going to try the crush rib with the .458" Hornady 350gr FP bullet.

Im hunting with a .50 cal. CVA Accura mountain rifle. Very nice lightweight gun that is very accurate, topped with a bushnell doa 250 scope. Smoked a coyote with it 2 weekends ago on a muzzleloader hunt.

TC Omega .50 cal.I started out with their Black Diamond and also had a Lyman GPR in .50 but they were sold.Kind of wish I'd kept the GPR.

I Have 2, both the old White's. one is a White Lightning and the other a White Tail. Both now use 209 primers from a new breech plug and bolt I made on my lathe. Much more dependable ignition now and shoot great as with every White Rifle I've ever seen.

I shoot a stainless optima v1 top with a redfield 3x9x40.
blackhorn 209, 300g 45cal xtp in a black tc sabot. Uncle and mother in law both shoot accura's v1.

I've owned a T/C Cougar,Renegade and Seneca.I moved those to buy a Knight Predator.I sold the Knight some years later to buy a T/C SS Encore Super 209x45.I have since added a 209x50 barrel for the Encore and also purchased T/C SS G2 Contender with the 209x50 barrel.

So every muzzle loader I currently own is based on the T/C system.

T/C Omega Z5 thumbhole wearing a 4x-12x-50mm SF Nikon Buckmasters heavy duplex in Leupold dual dovetail rings. I Duracoated it in a French Army pattern, and it was my first Duracoat project. The breech plug has been opened up slightly to breathe a little better. I was shooting 200gr. Shockwaves with 100gr. of 777 pellets. It was nearly impossible to reload after that first shot. I switched to the CVA powerbelt 245gr. Aerotips and 100gr. of 777. A hair less accuracy, but loads much easier.

Some of it's handy work.

I'm as confident hunting with this rifle as I am my centerfires. It probably has taken as many deer as my centerfires if not more. Going next week to drag her through the woods again for our early season

TC Impact. Midway had a $40 off coupon with free shipping a few years ago. Under $200 for a very accurate American made firearm. Replaced my TC White Mountain hunter that had misfired due to operator error a few times in bad weather over the years. Nothing like having a 150 class buck give you a [beeep] look after popping a cap at 30yds.
