In a few flashlight modifying sites I read to paint the reflector black to get rid of the flood. Supposedly it makes for a tighter beam. If anyone has a light that has too much flood I'd be curious to see what the results are.

I might of posted this already but it's worth a second post. this one is well worth 15 bucks for sure. Glass lens, smooth aluminum reflector, small and definitely a thrower. Read good things about it for being used as a gun light. I have one on the way.

only bad thing I can say is the hinge seems flimsy but I hot glued it where I like it so it's no issue.

how about this, i know that there is alot of lights from China mentioned, this was around 35.00 pluse 16.00 shipping....kinda looks like the killlight 250 to me

here's a gun kit. Its OP reflector in the pic but specs say it's smooth. Either way it it's a c8 with a p7 emitter. Flashlight guys seem to love the p7 over Q5's and xp's.

Guaranteed killer gun light for you guys that want one mode. I've been searching for one of these. It's a recoil thrower but it's one mode with an r2 bulb. I really don't need anymore but this is a perfect light.
