I use 50 pound braid fishing line tied to my head with a 3/0 fishing hook on the bottom end to keep my head from lifting.

I don't use one on my .260 AR10 because the brass is so hot it melts the nylon mesh. I use Caldwell bag type and the goat on my AR15's.

Like others, I got my first can once I started running thermals. After a year I recently got my paperwork in on a 2nd one, for my wife/son to use on the 2nd thermal gun. I swap it to my day gun and back as needed. My son recently shot his first coyot

The father in law bought a couple boxes just to try. It shot but I told him he could have bought a couple hundred bullets for what he paid for it. Didn't sound any less than brass.

Poly cased ammo has been in development for a long time. Looks like maybe it has finally become a workable thing. Wonder if that ammo will be less expensive than brass cased ammo? Seems like it should be.

I would be interested in whether that works on your scope Mike. As I mentioned, it works well for my hunting buddy with his Thermion XP50. He doesn't have an editing program and so it also keeps me from having to edit out a bunch of useless footage

Have you looked at Huntstand as a replacement? It doesn't have the prairie dog layer you want, but the app is free and I pay $30/year for property information for the entire lower 48 (never looked into AK/HI so not sure about those). It has a bunch

International skeet is shot wit 24gram loads, which is almost exactly 7/8 oz. Birds are harder and faster and these loads loads work well. For American Skeet I'm I'm shooting 11/16 oz of 9s in my 12ga and for SC I shoot 7/8 oz of 8s. Works for me.
