Iv always used ar setups for night hunting. But built this bolt to try it out.

Terminous Apollo lite/ti action
MDT hnt 26 chassis
Timney trigger.

I really wasn’t looking at it, but my gun builder had one on a build and another on the shelf. So I went all in on a custom build. 60* throw action. Weighed out ready to shoot @ 9.4lbs. Can, optic and 10rnd mag
 
It should serve you well, I really like those Terminus actions! Threaded trigger screws are genius and changeable bolt heads is as well.

I'm changing over to 60-70 degree designs, once I run the shit out of this ARC Coup De Grace I built this summer in PRS and it holds up, I'll go all in on them!
 
I think I’m on the right path. Only 50rnds or so through it, now to play with seating depth

I'm running some 75gr v-max through my .243 win with a 24" barrel. I haven't Chrono'd it yet, but I loaded to 3100 or 3300 fps per the reloading manual data table. No pressure signs. 3700 seems very fast to me, and Kino thinks you can run even faster? Nice. Maybe I need to work mine up a bit more. 3700 is very fast and that would probably help with longer pokes.
