Good friends, new gun , and a little blood.

Not very nice of Mother Nature to run you off when you come for a visit. If it makes you feel any better (which it probably won't) that weather was just what my brother and his son needed to get the bucks moving up on the Kaibab. Congrats on taking the shine off the new rig. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I had to admit, I did enjoy myself and it was good to be out hunting with old friends as well as new ones. Kerry Carver is one heck of a nice guy and his calls were fantastic. I have some pretty pricey custom calls that never get used. Kerry's wouldn't be in that pile. They are very good sounding calls.
If any of you ever get a chance to hunt with Kerry or Lance, you should take them up on it.

I really had a very good time and I would like to thank Bluedeacon and his family for inviting us to stay at his house /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif I hope we can do it again soon /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif Kerry
