What gets me about this video thing, is this. Two guys, from Utah, film their Pdog hunt, in Utah, and whoop it up when they make a spectacular shot.
Period.
Somehow, the bunny huggers have managed to convince the
Colorado Game Commission that
that video represents
all the varmint hunters in CO, and that the entire prairie erupts with whoops and cheers
every time a Pdog is shot.
But that's the thing, is it really a big deal that a bunch of guys whoop it up when they make a shot? Why is the commission concerned about what is said before or after a shot is made? All they need to be concerned about is the shot. Should that shot be legal is their only concern, to speak about anything else isn't their concern. If I want to go out in a powder blue tux and shoot deer, they should have no concern other than should that shot I take be considered legal.

I believe that if there was a contingent of varmint hunters at that Game Commission meeting to refute and repudiate their rediculous accusations, that this wouldn't be an issue today. How many CO varmint hunters are willing to get off their lazy azzes and actually
GO to these meetings, in order to save this hunting right? Obviously, not many. We only need one (1) spokesman, but we need a thousand concerned varmint hunters standing shoulder to shoulder
behind him! That is the only way to let the Commission know we mean business.
That was my hope by opening this thread, people would be inspired to write the commissioners: Roy McAnally
roy@americannorthwestrealty.com and Dennis Buechler
wetlandsandwater@comcast.net who have gone on record as being against varmint hunting and are giving an ear to this small group that is making all this noise because they found some videos on youtube. They are rats, they will be killed by poison, fire or whatever means someone comes up with (vacuum cleaner?) the commission needs to stop worrying that a guy going "Great Shot! Awesome Shooting Dave!" some how makes us all look bad because we are happy the rat died.
