I usually shoot a Benelli M1 Super 90 12 Ga. Some times I switch up and shoot my Beretta AL391 20 Ga. Then again, I might shoot the 12GA 870 my wife bought me for Christmas 25 yrs ago. Once in a while I'll pull out my old Remington Model 31, 16 GA. and wear out those crows.
With the exception of the 16 Ga. I shoot Winchester Sporting Clays Load, 7.5s at 1300fps. In the 16 I shoot a high base 7.5 load.
What is most important.... is.... does the gun FIT YOU? Does it shoot where you look? Will the choke/shot combination do what you need it to do?
If I were to make a suggestion as to a shotgun for you.... I would say "buy the 12ga that FITS YOU and shoot high velocity 7.5s".
I tend to like tight chokes and almost always use a full choke. Your choke choice may be different.
