This thread is so far off the original topic, but hey....That's what I do. So I'll play.
Can someone tell me which of these two firearms are "Tacticool"?
I don't understand how one can have a negative conotation attached to it and the other not. I can't paint a target with a laser with either of them. They both go "Bang" once when I pull the trigger. They both have detachable magazines. And they are both "BLACK". I want real reasons why one is "good" or "bad", "I feel" or "I believe" just doesn't cut it. If that's all you got as to your reasons, then that is the very definition of "closed mindedness".
I won't knock a guy for saying that they just don't "do it" for them. But to lump or elude(guilt by association) me into the "Sniper wannabe" or "Mall ninja" crowd because I own and choose to use a particular weapon that is MORE than sufficient (and popularly agreed upon to be superior) for the task, doesn't sit well with me.
You can try and twist my words any way you see fit, but you know darn well what I'm really saying. I have no interest in teaching an old dog a new trick. But if that old dog doesn't want to run with the pups........maybe he should sit quietly on the porch and wait for the end.

folks please note in my first reply i did not say that the OP should use a slug to shoot coyotes. i simply asked a question as to the legallity of using a slug in that situation. in regard to the OP i would use a 12 if i was restricted to shotgun hunting.

That is at best a difficult question to answer..especially on a BB for firearms.

And they both have stocks...fire bullets...have scopes...etc. ALL of which are totally irrelevant. Many things in the world cant be described or even classified by "actual; factual items" and the terms "I feel" or "I believe" ...etc..DO DEFINATELY come into play especially when it comes to MAKING LAWS! It is "right"..? beats me..ask the people YOU elect to create those laws and regulations!

The last part of the statement is what smack of the "its new so it has to be good" attitude" Being an Old Dog..or being a pup doesnt enter into the formula for wide based acceptance. It might HERE..but sure as there is a heaven THIS isnt even 1 iota of "all there is" for sure.
Why is it "many" feel that ANY..repeat ANY firearm is "bad".? Why does the state of PA not allow ANY semi auto to be used afield..?? Some ranchers / farmers Ive read ( never experienced it myself..so all the people that typically wade in on me can hold back on saying HAVE YOU personally experienced that..sort of CRA*) out west wont let you hunt on their property with a "WW5 weapon" ( not the correct name of course but seems EVERYONE knows what I refer to when I say WW5 weapon!!)
Me personally..I dont care what someone else shoots...Im not paying for it so why should I. But I have a hard time understanding why a hunting rifle needs a 20-30 shot magazine?? Why one has rails on it for searching lights?? etc..etc. Im suprised there isnt bayonet lugs on some of them.
Personally I think its a matter of cosmetics. Dont think it can happen....then the next time your someplace and sit down ( because its the only open chair) next to some "dude" with tattoos all over his FACE...a bone or something..??...piercing his nose...and some sort of thread spools or ??...in his ear lobes like some kind of Ubangie...then think back about being judged because of cosmetics.

Still no answers or reasons. That's fine, it wasn't expected any way. The reason we know what you mean by "WW5" rifle is because of the frequency in which you use it........and we are not ignorant, contrary to your "belief". We have to deal with the negative connotation attached to our weapon of choice almost daily, so I recognize a "knock" when I see it. Don't presume to know who I voted for either. The people you voted for are going to come after my weapons first no doubt because "they are evil and have no use for hunting", but once that precedence is set do you think they stop there? They come for you next.

This may make you and your "Anti black gun gang of X" happy for a short time, but only until you find your own head on the chopping block saying "what the F just happened? I'm the good guy!"

What would the powers to be at the time..if it ever should arise and it wont...what would they do if they "insist" that everyone turn in their firearms.. Arrest the ones that dont? THATS FUNNY. To tell the truth ALOT of the stuff we use in everyday life was at some point tactical. Cell phones (the system itself), GPS, tick repellant for your clothes, bolt guns, them fancy copper things you put into your boltguns, 1911's, ghost rings, .223, that yellow powder that will stop someone from bleeding to death (EMS) and lots lots lots lots more. By the way the shotgun is one of the most used tactical weapons. Think it's been used in every war we have been in.
