The Fox and Magnetic North

Call shy coyotes are no longer a problem. 2 saturdays ago i went to a farm where coyotes were killin all this guys chickens. He had already had two other guys come out and call for coyotes that were local. He heard about me from my pulmonary specialist. In under 3 minutes i had got five to come in and killed four. He asked what calls i used and i showed him. He asked what the box was attached to my call and thats when i told him about the magnet. He was in awe. Its crazy how many multiples come into this thing. We are gonna call it the coyote magnet

how big of a magnet do you use?

i have high tension lines running across the property, they have quite a magnetic field around them, enough to get a fluorescent bulb to flicker just by being withing 50 or 60 feet of the lines.

Hard to keep up with all the emails. We are hoping to have this in production and on the shelves within a year. Still discussion on pricing on these units. We are just common people like everyone and want to keep it reasonably affordable. But how do you put a price on something that increase your call in rate that much? Any thoughts would be appreciated .

I can't tell whether you guys are serious are not.....I think we are snipe hunting.....

For those that are using magnets, what are you using?

My computer is crapped out right now I'm limited to my phone. Can't go into to much detail about the guts of this thing but its basically getting high output out of an electromagnet with minimal electricity

Chaz just magnets won't work. They aren't strong enough to peak a coyotes interest. Its crazy it seems to overload their mind. They never try to get downwind and the ones that came from.downwind seemed oblivious to smell

I guess you let the cat out of the bag! Now that you and others know of these strange occurrences then I guess it's time for me to come out of the closet and admit to having purchased 4 and given one away to a friend. We use ours primarily in the summer months when fur is thinner with amazing results. In the winter months I have noticed that the weaker ones work a little better but you will need two of them where in summer one strong one works just fine.

Bparker we have found a way to make them smaller with adjustable power. Its a little more expensive than one of the test units but cheaper than buying two. I've also noticed heat affects how the magnetism effects them.

Whatever the reasoning behind the adjustable units is I believe I will stick with the original ones I use.we also experimented with some of the pen raised foxes we had and were astounded wit the high level of success. We even implanted a small male with one up his tail end and he was actually able to catch them coming and going. These are the real deal.

It will the small one. The large one and new one take two 9 volt batteries. Rechargeables will be included with the new ones with built in charger. A charge is lasting about50 stands.

I really don't care how much you talk it up I'm still sticking with my original ones. My cousin is an eletrical engineer and was telling me that if the boosters on the adjustable model does not have the proper electrostatic conducter to step up and down the current it will fail in a short period. That is what is my biggest issue with the new ones. If its not broke don't fix it. You already have the best kept secret in hand so don't screw it up. I am getting twice the stands out of my smaller ones now.
