Just for fun, how many roll their own rounds on here. Read 1st post

40. Started handloading in 1974, shotgun shells back then. Metalics in 1979.

To date I have or have had about 35 sets of dies and two complete set ups for loading shotgun shells.

I don't have any one favorite as there must be hundreds of different combinations that I have used in many guns.

No. 41, I guess.....started about 1968 or so.

Load most every thing I shoot----from .22-250 to .45-70. Started with .243 Win and have loaded 6mm Rem., 7mm Rem Mag., .308 Win., .30-06, .300 Wby, .300 Win, .300 RUM, .338 Win, .338 RUM, 7 STW, .25-06, .270 Win, .38/.357, .41 Mag,.44 Mag, .45 APC, .45 AutoRim, .45 Colt. Could have missed one or two on the list, several not loaded at present.

Got a chrony several years ago; still use it when the moon is right........interesting to see what the factory loads really produce; usually somewhat less than catalog. The early Rem. factory 7 STW 140 Corelock stuff was about 100 fps FASTER than catalog---checked it on two different chronographs. Haven't checked recent production.....

Started in about 67 with a neighbor.
Would have cheaper if I had gotten hooked on sniffing
glue or somthing. But NOOO I had to get hooked on reloading

#50 Been at the bench for 15 years, it's one of my favorite hobbys, and is where I go when I need some peace and quiet. Currently reload for : .243 win
: 6mm rem
: .270 win
: .308 win
: 30-06 spfld
: 7mm rem mag
: 300 win mag
: 338 win mag
My favorite load is one I worked up for my nephews ,243 and uses hybrid 100 and nosler partitions. He took his first buck with it this year and the time in load devlopment and helping him learn ins and outs of shooting paid off.

#51 Been at it since 1970 so I have not shot a factory round since. One of mine are for a .17 Remington, 24.5grs. of IMR4320 behind a 25gr. Remington HP bullet and Remington 7 1/2 primer.

Been loading 50 years. My dad started me. I load most common cartridges, none of the wide short mags. Load both jacketed and cast my own bullets.

#57

Been rolling for around 35 years now. My uncle started me on it using the old herters single stag presses. Use to roll my own shotshells too, but got away from it. Was cheaper to buy then reload and don't shot trap or skeet much at all anymore.
