Just for fun, how many roll their own rounds on here. Read 1st post

99. I've been reloading for prolly 35 or so years. Early years it was all done with my dad watching over my shoulder. Not so much anymore, although he is still my goto source for info/problems. My favorite load? Hmmmm...........maybe 30grns W748 behind a 50gr TNT in the .223AI, might be 46.5gr of r-17 behind a 70gr Ballistic tip in my .243AI...........or maybe 64gr of 4831 in...................Oh jeez, I have lots of favorites!!! LOL

#103 Been reloading since 1966 - different favorite for each gun - so - around 30+ favorite loads, not including guns I've traded off, or have received recently!

104. I have been hand loading for going on 30 years.

I don't have a favorite. I load for rifle(about 20 different
cartridges), shotgun(4 gauges), and pistol(6 cartridges).
I use to be one of those that thought hand loaders were
a dangerous bunch. Now I think factory ammo sucks, and
wouldn't shoot that garbage in my firearms...Unless I have
to to prove a firearm problem to a manufacturer.

106 Loaded my 1st round in the summer of 1970 and I'm still using the RCBS press today.

My favorite load is for my 257 Roberts
38.5 grains of IMR 4064 and a 100 Grain Hornday bullet, its the accuracy load my gun likes--really likes

I load for 257,223,45-70,270,30-06,9mm,357 Mag,45 APC

if you have a 14 twist try 52 gr bergers, they're magic in mine. i use 33 gr of RL10x though. If you try that load, work up to it, it's hot.

Been going at it for about 15 years. Love the peace and quite it gives me. Got loads for all my guns. Just started "playing" with other combinations to see what is out there.

Best load is for a .223
25 gr. IMR3031 pushing a 52gr.Sierra HPBT.

About 18 years.
Favorite: 64.5 Grains of RE22 stuffed into a Remington 7MM case made by Winchester capped off with a Sierra 160 Grain boat tail spitzer. Ignited by Federal LRM primers. Not to exceed 3.240 Inches COL!

Elk don't care too much for them though.

just started in september when i tore my rotator cuff. starting slow so only working with .223 and .22-250, havnt found anything great for 250 yet, but .223 likes 40g vmax w/25g benchmark.(.498 @ 100) going to the bench in a lil bit to make some more test rounds. still mind blowing how many different combinations it could take to find the perfect load. but then again thats the fun part
