Kizmo....I have a T/C pro hunter just like you spoke of I have a leupold II 3x9 on. I use Jim Shockley gold preformed loads 150 gr. And hornaday 240 gr. Sabots.
It shoots great and I have no problems with it at all and the Jim Shockley powder is great no mess just cleans up with water and does not foul up the barrel very quick at all. Plus you always have an action that can be changed from a muzzle loader to a rifle so if something new and better comes along you can still us the gun. Plus that fact keeps the value up on a muzzle load if you decide to sell it in the future someone might want it to turn it into a rifle. Good Luck!
