A local DJ played a "snippit" of the song this morning, stating that it hit the top 10 on this day in 1973.
I always loved the song, and was a minor ELO fan back in the day, so here is the long version.....
Here's an early ELO, before Roy Wood left, with Roy on lead vocals instead of Jeff Lynne.
(You can see Jeff Lynne in the background, in red outfit.......
This song was released under the band's pre-ELO name, "The Move".
Ironically, the song (and the LP it was on), was released AFTER the first ELO LP was released......
More early ELO before Roy left the band.......
