I bet. My custom 338 Fed is a little porkchop and its got a bite.

My experience with Kimbers. I currently own a wood stocked Model 84 sporter in 243 that shoots sub MOA with my reloads using 90 grain Swift Sciroccos. I'm satisfied with this considering it wears a really trim barrel. I use to own another Model 84 in 300 WSM that shot sub MOA with Win factory loaded with 180 grain Nosler Accubonds. Killed two big Idaho bulls with this combo in 2005 and 2006. Wound up selling the 300 to my Sisters ex fiancé just to shut him the [beeep] up. Should have kept it. Then I bought a Montana in 300 WSM. I could not get this rifle to shoot to save my life. I'm a big guy and not recoil shy a bit but this thing kicked like he11. Sold it. I have friends that own the Kimber heavy barrel varmint rifles and they have no complaints. Kimber does build some sweet 1911's. I own a couple. Grizz
