My oldest son, 10, took this 8 point on our youth hunt last Saturday. It was his second deer and first buck. The shot was 75 yards with a .243. The deer dropped in his tracks.

Rough score 185 he isn't gonna net that though. With shrink and the deductions he wll be 175 to 179 net. My personal best though, I have been passing deer like this for a long time The last couple years I havent and I have been surprised how big they actually are. I feel like a fool saying this but I know without a doubt I have passed up bucks in the upper 180's. Not anymore though...LOL.

Awsome deer guys
The kids got a couple more does this week.
My son Hunter got his doe with my .270 about 50 yards.
Erin got hers with a NEF .243 about 60 yeards.
