I'm new to calling but I'm in Ohio and would love to get together with a bunch of guys to call. If you have room for a new guy of course.

well, they used to meet and hunt zelaski i believe.... cooper hollow is in the jackson area and for a few guys to get together and do some hunting would be a good spot... we run rabbit dogs there at night in the summer time and the coyotes are in there thick... theres quite a bit of government there close... if there was a big crowd..
this might be something worth looking into before the good part of the season gets away from us.. im in..

I am up for some hunting. I have access to some of the river bottoms souteast of Chillicothe, and land around Jackson and Portsmouth area.

Ive picked up a few of the bottoms myself there rn up on my end though got the ok just day or so ago.And Tar hollow is only bout 10 -12 miles from here Canine not sure if anyone calling out there or not never heard anything but I think that was one of the places the GOV first put yotes back in around here. Also picked another 60 acre plot down Ray I can hunt so plenty of areas too hunt and run too if need be..Lets try an get a time range we can get this ball a rollin.

man if there is ever a southern ohio meeting count me in. I wish i had some land to offer up a hunt because i sure wish i could have someone show me what i am doing wrong

We all need to get together on some good public ground or something that we can all get together and hunt. It would be great to meet everyone and just share storys and experiences. I think we have 5 or 6 guys that are wanting to get in on this.

I too am in on this southern ohio hunting gig. I hunt around Athens (close to Burr Oak St. park), unfortunatley dont have any land to offer but I like the public land idea alot. Lets make it happen fellas!

i hunted my butt off monday... i had located a pair across the road behind my house on sunday night and thought i could get in there and call them in.. they were no where to be seen on monday morning... i had had what sounded like a dominant male give me a rather nasty domain howl when i got them stirred up... i would of really like to of seen him show his face... i started at 715am and didnt stop until 6pm that night.. i was pooped.. i didnt even see as much as a deer all day... really dissappointed.i hunted some of my best spots and had a ton of sign in every location but no coyotes to show for them... i did manage to pick up a monster pc of farm land up toward oak hill to hunt.. so i did get something out of the day.

it was by far the best weather ive had all season to hunt. temps never got above 25 and not much wind at all. sure wish i could of put some fur in the truck though. oh well, maybe saturday...

hope some of you guys are doing good. im officially on a 2wk drought...and going through withdrawl..hahaha

There are coyotes in Tar Hollow. I located 2 different groups last year on the north end. I just haven't had time to get out at all this season. I'm about 15 miles north of there. They have Hogs also, so does Zaleski. You all figure out when and where and I'll try to get that day off.

yeah... someone come up with a gameplan or suggestion of an area and lets get it going... im up.. ill just have to get sick that day if they wont let me burn vacation time..hahaha..

also, im not sure if any of you guys are familiar but there is an area close to me they call belville mining... they have closed it off to truck traffic(wayne national just bought it a few years back)... if your up for walking there are thousands of acres to call... and you can access it from different directions... its close to the size of the crown city mining area or bigger.. we used to ride quads in there... huge rolling pastures and thick dense cover all around.. the coyotes are thick in there.
