Tally Ho Problem

I use a Tally Ho exclusively with fantastic results. Before each calling sequence I take the tip of my tongue and lift up on the end of the reed to gently bow the reed up. I can use this call in any place from the side of the mouth to the front. Once you get the hang of it you may not put the TH down. Be prepared to go through many reeds during a calling season. I keep extra sets everywhere along with an extra TH.
One thing that many new users have with the TH is they are blowing too hard or biting down on the reed. The TH takes less wind to use than a lot of other open reeds. It also takes less pressure on the reed. I seldom bite down on the reed unless I am cranking out a bird distress. Good Luck
