It sounds like you were setup in the bottom of the draw? Did the lion come down the bottom, or partway up the sides?

I was in the bottom of a canyon with a creek, he came down the bottom of the canyon near the creek, I never saw if he came down a hillside or not before I spotted him that’s something I’ve debated myself too.

How far away did you have the call from you? I think I'd be ing my pants when he disappeared at 100 yards knowing he's looking for the source of that sound!!
