Ducksoup, that's a great idea starting a scrapbook of old homesteads. I parked my truck at this old farmhouse that day and took a peek in the window of the house when walking by. Nobody had lived there for probably 20 years. It was like going back in time. Plates on the kitchen counter. Green shag carpet. Rotary phone on the wall. Little sheepherder woodstove in the corner. Nice drapes. It was spooky almost. Still nice enough to live in.
I got my ghillie from a friend that has a predator calling supply store. His name is Bruce Clemans. He said Rancho had a fire and the guy is just getting things in order again. He should be back in business in the near future.
