First Bobcat ever seen at home

I've seen Bobcats in different areas of this state, but I've lived here for 31 of my 38 years, I grew up stomping the woods and creeks and never, ever have seen a Bobcat anywhere around this area. Still haven't SEEN one, but one's here.

i have seen one while working in the field last summer. he was walking along the woodline about 100 yards away and stopped to watch us. a red fox did the same thing another day also! i have also heard them screaming sometimes but havent heard or saw one recently
 
Last spring a bobcat made it a weekly ritual to enjoy a neighbors chicken about 20 yards from my mom's backdoor. This was in central AL.
 
We have a season on them here that is open during deer season, and I think it's open during turkey season. I won't shoot it during turkey season since I guess that's when they would be raising their young. Next deer season though, it'll be on like donkey kong.
