What are these folks thinking? Do they seriously think they can compete with Trump? The answer is ... NOPE.

They are in the election for one reason and one reason only: To advance their notoriety for something in the future.

They know that the more their name is in front of the people and in the media the more likely it is that they can capitalize on some fruitful endeavor somewhere down the road.

Bottom line : A huge waste of donated money and time. Most of them will never make it to the primary and will drop out before the election.

The first three in the title are all the same old recycled neo-conservative RINO turds. Career politicians who've all sold us out before and will sell us out again if given the chance when it matters the most. You can count on the first three to wipe their bums on the Constitution every chance they get.

I'm not really sure about Elder.

What's y'alls thoughts on DeSantis? I like what Trump accomplished but can't stand him as a human being or how he conducts himself as POTUS but would vote for him again if no one else better who is electable isn't offered

My thoughts, I think Trump would be better for 2 things ........ Our safety as a Nation on the world front, and our economy would likely be great with lower prices as we saw in the past with him.

DeSantis? Who knows? I'm having a hard time figuring him out so far. I haven't heard much out of him in the way of what changes he would make, just complaints about the current state of affairs. It's easy to complain ... but what is he going to do to make things better and the country safer?

The upcoming debates will likely give us a better picture of what the candidates have in mind. Then we can get closer to making a definite decision.

As it stands currently: Trump is my choice. If nothing else because of the way he performed the last time.

All that aside, I wholeheartedly agree with you about Trump's demeanor and boisterous mannerisms. He needs to learn to be a bit more "presidential" but that isn't who he is. Change the man and you might change how he is viewed by our enemies and competition.

DeSantis performed admirably in bringing FL back after the hurricane. Been through a couple myself and never saw such a rapid recovery. He was one of, if not the first to send FL troopers and NG troops to aid Gov. Abbott's efforts to secure the border. Outstanding performance @ state level, but there would be a learning curve as to how to stay afloat in the swamp.

Trump, on the other hand, fixed it once, obviously knows what is required to fix everything Biden broke in just 2 short years. I have no doubt President Trump will hit the ground running on day one, as he did in '17 on securing the border, making us #1 in energy production again, building back our military squandered in part by surrendering billions in materiel in Afghanistan, etc., then on day 2......

He absolutely could stand a class or two in charm school, but as Hidalgo stated, that might come at a cost of less effectiveness with our world wide adversaries. The woke socialists are terrified of President Trump as are our adversaries & that's a big plus IMO.

World Economic forum, globalism, socialism, climate activist, democrats whatever they identify as/with stay far away 2030 is approaching fast. Yes, I mean some of the republican "field".

As long as he lives & runs for President. My vote is for Trump 100%. As some of you have stated. I find him a little too brash at times, myself. Even with that. He says what is on his mind. Which I find, Admiral.

I think it comes down to who you vote against as much as for. Lesser of the two evils.
Any and all will have their faults. But I found Trump to be brutally honest, thin skinned folks didn’t like that.

Speaking to a fellow the other day, he said Trump was going to prison. All I could do was laugh. Really, they will have to build a new prison to keep him in, a mansion better than any other on the planet with one inmate in it. The kid thought they would kick him out into general population, people are so……stupid.

I agree with what others are saying in their posts and I will vote for Trump also. The thing that peeves me the most is the coordinated "soft coupe" that the Democrats, the media, and the corrupt judicial system have been waging against him from day one while protecting their Democratic cronies, who are actually guilty of almost everything that they are charging Trump with.
There are a couple of other Republican candidates that I could vote for, but not this election unless Trump is somehow removed from the ballot which appears to be the Democrats goal!

At $2.39 I could drive around and hunt coyotes at will. At $4.79, not so much. My life was so much better under Trump as compared to now. Lots of politicians talk about what they're going to do but after 60 some odd years on the planet I realize it's just that talk.

Like him or hate him he got things done even with all the opposition he had.

Trump will get my vote which is just symbolic because I live in the communist state of Washington.

All the media needed to do at the debate last night was put a sign in front of each "candidate" BEEN TO DAVOS or NEVER WILL SUBMIT TO THE WEF. I know Haley is a globalist,WEF, supporter. Pence? Scott(no). If your candidate is a globalist they are ANTI-CONSTITUTION, just won't come out and say it.

With the amount of corruption and improprieties in our government, we need a president who has a backbone of steel and the personality of a rattlesnake. None of the other candidates compare to Trump to drain the swamp. MAGA 2024!
