I am looking for a good spot beam flashlight or headlamp for around $75 or less, I have been looking out to www.dinodirect.com I would like at least a 200 meter beam throw. Thanks in advance for your input.
eBay has a bunch at good prices, all mine are made by ultra-fire and have Cree bulbs. Can't say enough about the value on these. I bought one a year or so ago and now own 3 lights and 1 headlight, all with Cree bulbs. Won't be dis-appointed and don't have much to lose even if you hate it.
This is one:
Best budget white LED I found when I was using white LEDs. I'm sure ther are others, I've gotten away from white LEDs and filters. I have the C8 it's called the G4 in my post below. Great all around light, 5 modes is a pain IMO to hunt with. I carry it for tracking.
Go to sportsmans guide I got an 800 lumin light that comes with barrel and/or picatinney rail mount with two types of switches for $62.00. Makes looking thru scope just like daylight. can't bear it.
Distance usually is going to cost you money. RELIABLE, honest to god 200 yard identification of targets is probably going to cost you more than 75 if you are wanting clored lights.
Yep, the C8 is what I use also. Can be had for under $20 with batteries. You wouldn't believe the amount of light that these suckers put out, or maybe ya will.
