Yep, the Scout is probably the best thing going for a youth .22 in my opinion also. Kevincole started out with a Chipmunk back at age 4 and it was suprising accurate for what it was but we had problems keeping the scope rings from sliding on the rails. So I stepped him up to the Scout on his 7th birthday and he took to it really well shooting off a bench right off the bat but this year he's got to where he can handle the weight and shoot it pretty good from the sitting position. Off a bench he can roll nickels at 50 yards consistantly. I shoot a CZ Special every now and then and it's respectably accurate for the money also.
