Andy, did you get up on the wrong side of the bed? lol! I think ol' knight was just trying to lend a hand.
knight, you are right about that rule being kind of a trapping related law. We have a similar law here in WA. They frowned on the use of duck or turkey wings over bobcat sets. They claimed the wing was a edible part of a game bird and it was game waste. We were allowed to use feathers though. Kind of a weird rule.
