also have somw win748 and some accurate 2230,
I am using winchester or remington primer....

i also shoot 35.5 grains benchmark behind a 52 grain tnt fast(around 3800), accurate(5 shots one big hole), but not the most fur friendly

I think a little searching might net you some info.

This topic comes up just about every week.

Lots of good combos out there.

jbdfish,I use H380 out of my .22-250's. 55 gr and 50 gr shoot real good out of them. I had one .22-250 that shot IMR-4350 really good but it was alot slower than the H380. Hard to go wrong with H380 in my book. I use CCI primers and Nosler BT's. If you have the 4064 that is a good powder in the .22-250

Not to jack the thread but Mr Outdoors did you chrony your loads? I've been looking at 8208 for my .308 and for the .22-250.What kind of accuracy did you get? Thanks

h380 is very accurate in the 22-250, but it is VERY temp sensitive. Reason I switched to 8208xbr. Get some 8208 and either 40 or 50 grain nosler ballistic tips, and save all that time with load development.

i get excellent accuracy with 50gr tsx and 38gr h380 ina 1-14 twist savage.trying to get a winter load worked up for them.

also 55gr gk hpbt with 35.5 varget

since i have a 1-14 twist i found out with my rifle it dont like max loads, they just arnt as accurate.been trying r15 but so far no good
