Yes, 85gr. Very accurate, but have only shot them at the range
in a .25-06.

My 25-204 loves the 85's it runs right at 3000 fps, I think it would be perfect for antelope but I'm leery of using it for deer and use the 100gr Partition for deer hunting. Every once in a while I run into near elk sized deer where I hunt. I can run 75gr V-max at 3150 fps and they are accurate when I hunt coyotes with it but it is not fur friendly at all unless I can get them facing me.

tony, some 25/06's will love the 85's with a max load of R#19 and a win primer. Others will not shoot the Nosler but will love the 87g Speer spt.

I shot the 100's in both brands also, IMR 4350, R#22. Barrels will like what they like.

I experienced more damage with the 85g Nosler and 87g speer Spt, if that is a concern. Velocity with the 85-87g is in the 3500-3600 fps area.

I used Winchester brass due to strength, bumped the shoulders back with a Forster Neck sizing die.

I have shot the Nosler 100gr BT with IMR 4350, in a Savage, Tikka, Remington Sendero, all with excellent results, I dont have a 25-06 any more, but was thinking the powder charge was 51gr-52gr
The coyote that I shot in my avatar was with a 25-06

Years ago, I had a 257 Weatherby with zero freebore in a 10T Pac Nor super match barrel, 26" length.

100g ballistic tips at 3850 really made the hair fly on a coyote. 87g speer at 4130 detonated coyotes. Don't discount the speer 100g btsp. Barrels will like what they like, and I have had spectacular success out of the 100g speer btsp when the barrel preferred it over the ballistic tip. Deer, coyotes, rock chucks, jack rabbits all died humanely.

I think that your 25/300 will equal the 257 weatherby.

Good luck

Run both 85 bt's and 115 bt's in my 257 Weatherby. Both shoot fast and group tight. dumped piles of 600 yard plus coyotes. The 115 for antelope and muleys puts smack on them.
