backpack for hunting

I was using a Eblerstock X1A2, I ended up going with a cheaper lighter pack and a Kifaru gun bearer, I like the gun bearer for coyote hunting, seems much faster to shoulder the gun. I just strap my chair to the pack. I would gladly sell my Eblerstock, it is just sitting in a closet.

That X1A3 is what I used for a while and it works well. My giant FoxPro Prairie Blaster 3 takes up the whole bag though so I switched to a Team Elk that has room for a puffy jacket and my Mojo Critter decoy. The optics pockets on the outside fit my decoy stake with extension and shooting sticks. The scabbard holds my 20" AR with a 10rd mag and 3.5-10x Leupold.

I took the hip belt off mine and only put it back on if I'll really be hiking a lot. It is quicker and easier to slip the pack off without it and I'm not packing enough weight to really need it.
