White House Ball

Of course, Bill B. is correct. Rush and disciples are not powerless and they do influence the public debate. In fact, the oxycontin induced ramblings of Limbaugh could double as the republican party platform.

Hunterbear,
Here's some direct questioning:

Do you support the current administration and it's spending, nationalization, and attempts to nationalize healthcare? Are these the things you feel will "rescue" this country?

I never got an answer from Rim Runner with similar direct questions. I just want to see if one of you will fully admit that you support the liberal agenda for America.

How do you compare Limbaugh's brain to the cocain/pot addled brain of O? O could represent the CPUSA with his policies.

When presented with any question that cannot immediately be shouted down with "Bush Lied, Peope Died" or "It's Bush's fault", promptly play the race card and assert your position of moral superiority and the fact the questioner is obviously a racist. At no time explain your assertions any further. Never give any back-up to your position. Ambiguity, cowardism, and name-calling are key to you argument! If you are ever in danger of being backed into a corner, say nothing and wait for orders on the Nightly World News.

Your Comrade and Commander,

Mr. Nancy Pelsoi

Name calling...check
Ambiguity...check
Cowardism...check
Offer no back-up...check

Very good hunterbear71, I'll assume you are awaiting orders from Katie Couric. Nancy Pelosi must be so proud of you.

LOL!!!!!!!!!

Uh oh....I guess laughing at that picture would make me a racist, if that fact hadn't already been established by my disagreement with the saviour BO.

Wow...the irony of an advocate for racist cartoons accusing someone else of name calling is profoundly comical. Apparently there is some hostility associated with being a powerless racist.

Hunterbear,
Are you going to answer my direct questions or pull the typical liberal move and ignore it?

Stop using witty remarks and just answer the questions with a simple yes or no. Or can you not do that?

I'll be waiting but not holding my breath.

Not sure if you understand the definition of irony...? Using tricky words is tough and should be left to the pros.

What is REALLY profoundly comical is that you are following that memo I wrote MOCKING you and all the other lib/commies pretty much word for word. Your insistance that I or anyone else that disagrees with your god BO is a racist is just plain wrong, and really shows how desperate you are becoming. Also, your inability to answer even the simplest questions while instead interjecting your "humorous" one-liners further exposes how baseless, radical, and completely submissive to your lib/commie leaders you really are.

But I'm just a hostile, powerless racist I guess.

this really is a problem. the left has abused & miss-used the term racist so much that it now has no meaning & we're going to have to come up with a new term to use for someone who actually is a racist.

Come on hunterbear, I'll repeat myself:

Do you support the current administration and it's spending, nationalization, and attempts to nationalize healthcare? Are these the things you feel will "rescue" this country?

Save your witty one liners and other drivel. I just want you to say that you either support or don't support the current liberal agenda that is being put forth for America.

hunterbear,
I'm disappointed. Not surprised, but disappointed. You are quick to respond with a piece of one line wit but reluctant to answer a direct question.

Surely you don't lack conviction behind your support of Obama. Or is it that your mental and moral superiority prevent you from speaking directly to mere mortals?

I don't lack conviction in my beliefs and am not afraid to tell anyone that I was disappointed in Bush but he was better than anything else we could have gotten. Some will agree with me, some won't. Either way I am willing to say what I believe and why.

I do want to answer your direct questions, Bill B. However, it is just too broad of a question. I do support the reform of health care. The Baucus bill is very bad and really doesn't fundamentally alter the system. The Baucus bill is the Senate finance commitee version. A better version has come out of the Senate health, education, labor and pensions committee. Both of these bills are very poor when compared to the bill produced by the House. The House bill would have the Government offer insurance in competition with private companies. Anyway, what I personally favor is probably not relevant. Baucus appears to have the votes, so it is just a question of what the final version of that bill will look like. I do favor an effort to provide health care to all Americans.

Thats simple, just sign up all of the uninsured on the plan Congress uses and leave the rest of us alone. As far a competition between the Insurance Companies and the socialized plan there wil be no competition. The socialists plan will never go broke no matter how much in the hole it operates, just like Amtrac, USPS, etc. If you want competition between the Insurance Companies you can have Congress remove all of the laws they passed that stifle competition.

Well, I do understand that people who work hard to afford health coverage for their families do not want to see their coverage diminished by efforts at universal health care. However, the insured are currently paying the cost of the uninsured. We currently have universal coverage, but we just don't have a sustainable system to pay for this coverage. The sick poor end up in the emergency room. Their medical bills are recouped by the hospital billing insured patients at a higher rate. Illegal immigrants are still going to strain the health system even if the Baucus bill is adopted as law. When illegals get sick, hospital emergency rooms are not going to deny them coverage. The health care system is not currently very healthy. It is a crisis waiting to happen.According to the Congressional Budget Office, the Baucus plan could conceivably reduce the federal deficit by 81 million over the next ten years.Every effort to reduce premiums and insure uninsured Americans should be explored.

You know HB, its only the democrats that are howling for socialized health care. Most of the American citizens don't want it. Can you explain to me why Congress and the Unions are exempt from this bill? And please show me some examples of gov't run programs that operated like they were promised to operate. How does AMTRAC operate? It was supposed to be on its own and operate without tax subsidies after 3.5 years, that was over 3 decades ago. They are still sucking billions of tax dollars to keep the wheels rolling.

Individuals in the U.S. pay more than double per capita for health care than any other developed country. The care offered in this country is certainly not twice as good as the care in these other countries. The American consumer is being overcharged for a number of reasons. The health insurance lobby has killed the public option, so it is unlikely that premiums will be greatly reduced by the Baucus plan. Insured Americans may not be clamoring for health care reform. However, that doesn't mean the system is healthy. Health care costs in this country are approaching crisis levels.
