They Don't Like Me Cause I'm Black

Yep, he played the race card again. Won't consider that many dislike him because he's an avowed socialist, like his mentor MLK. Add the fact that everything he touches turns to crap. His disdain for the Constitution, yada, yada, yada. And yet he won't admit that many more voted for him based on the single fact that he is black.

Obama Says Racial Animus Blunts Approval, New Yorker Reports
By Brian Wingfield Jan 19, 2014 12:01 PM

President Barack Obama said that racial tensions may have softened his popularity among white voters within the last two years, according to a story posted on the New Yorker magazine’s website today.

“There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black president,” Obama said in the article by David Remnick, appearing in the magazine’s Jan. 27 edition.

“Now, the flip side of it is there are some black folks and maybe some white folks who really like me and give me the benefit of the doubt precisely because I’m a black president,” Obama said in his most direct comments on how race has affected his political standing since he’s been in office.

Obama’s second term has been marked by controversies including a partial government shutdown in October, revelations that the National Security Agency has gathered personal mobile phone data and the troubled rollout of health-insurance expansion.

Obama’s approval rating among all voters is 39 percent and his disapproval rating is 53 percent, according to a Gallup Poll conducted Jan. 14-16. In the 2012 presidential election, Republican candidate Mitt Romney won 59 percent of the white vote, compared with Obama’s 39 percent, according to exit polling by a consortium of major news outlets. Obama won 43 percent of the white vote in 2008 against 55 percent for opponent John McCain, a Republican senator from Arizona.
Obamacare Blamed

“Poll after poll makes it very clear that Obamacare and other job-killing policies are the reason” for the president’s decline in popularity, Republican National Committee spokesman Sean Spicer said in a phone interview today.

Obama offered reflections on a variety of subjects in the New Yorker story, including his view about the dangers of playing professional football, which has been the subject of media scrutiny over players’ head injuries.

“I would not let my son play pro football,” the article quotes Obama, the father of two daughters, as saying. When asked by Remnick how those dangers squared with his enjoyment of the game as a spectator, Obama said professional players are aware of the inherent risk in playing a full-contact sport.
Like Smokers

“They know what they’re buying into,” Obama said. “It is no longer a secret. It’s sort of the feeling I have about smokers, you know?”

Obama acknowledged that reports of U.S. surveillance programs, including allegations that the government tapped German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s mobile phone, had created a “breach of trust,” Remnick reported.

Obama said he also assumes others are trying to spy on him, and for this reason he doesn’t have a phone, according to The New Yorker.

He said, “there are European governments that we know spy on us, and there is a little bit of Claude Rains in ‘Casablanca’ -- shocked that gambling is going on,” the magazine quoted him as saying, referring to the actor who played the police captain in the 1942 movie.

As my father is frequently inclined to say, he'd rather climb a tree and tell a lie than stand on the ground and tell the truth.

Guess he isn't able to figure it all out, he still thinks it's because he's black, when in fact it's because he's a lying sack of sh1t. A poor excuse for a leader, and only an excuse, because he certainly isn't a leader. And, a low-life race baiting sleezeball.

A liberal always has an excuse of some sort, no matter what the situation. I don't like him because he is black, and I wouldn't like him if he was white.......I just don't like him....period. The day he was elected was one of the "blackest" days in America's history....no pun intended. The man has been a terrible president, and when faced with adversity, always finds an excuse or someone to blame it on.

Quote:The man has been a terrible president, and when faced with adversity, always finds an excuse or someone to blame it on.....+100....

I don't think there is any 'play book' on being a good/great President (especially of this great Country)...In the final analysis, it boils down to the individual and their personal ethics & abilities to lead, based upon valid advice from those closest to them...

Harry Truman came off of the farm, into the city, selling clothing, and went on to being one of our better Presidents in modern history, and his attitude of "The Buck Stops Here" was never wavering...He had to make some tough decisions and choices while in the office, but he never had to apologize and never blamed others for his decisions, including the one to drop the Atomic Bomb on Japan...

IMHO, Obama is at the far opposite end of that spectrum....

Have we ever, in our 200+ years, had a President elected who had less experience to draw on. Is he supposed to be a lawyer? Did he ever try a case? No military. No governor. One and part of a half year a senator, so he could vote" present." What the ------ is a community organizer? Is that what we used to call a rabble rouser? A trouble maker? Now the media is pumping up hillery to be his successor. If that happens, well at that point what difference will it make.

I feel pretty confident that the Lame Stream Media will be very reluctant to rehash Hillary and Bills' involvement in the various reports regarding activities of the White Water Development, the number of 'mysterious' deaths and disappearances that happened while the earlier Clinton involvements in politics in Arkansas and the White House, if she is, in fact, seeking the White House as a presidential candidate...

I understand that her function as a Secretary of State was at the behest of Obama and during that time, she was, for the most part, parroting his views on many situations, but she always had the availability of saying "NO" and walking away rather than taking the position of "What Does It Matter" when it came down to accepting the overall responsibility for Benghazi..

The Lame Stream Media will most likely center on the potential for the "First Female as President", just as they were quick to latch onto Obama as the "First Black President" and use their liberal stance in the promotion of her, regardless of her lack of real qualification when based on personal ethics and work history...The fact that she moved from Arkansas to New York for the sole purpose of a Senate election is some indication of her personal ethics...

I don't think we can stand another experiment at this time.I am doing my best to outlive obomas term.I hope I won't be forced to outlive billery.

RIGHT ON ROCKY1!!

Since he was elected, the black population has lost ground in every single measured economic indicator, yet they still worship at his feet. Could it be because he is black? Cause it certainly can't be because he has improved their lives so much.

the vast majority of blacks will NEVER have a chance. how can they?. the just keep cutting their own throats. grow up doing what "most" blacks do, and follow along, well?? samo-samo.

I feel the race relations have gone back to the 50/60s era. O has hurt his own people but they still do not get it. The education of ones self during election time to vote for the best person for our country has gone to the way side.

Its really a self fulfilling prophesy as his only avenue is to play the race card which in turn aggravated racial tensions which IMHO are at an all time high. Its the only thing that progressives have left at this point.

you guys seem to forget the the GREAT ONE is half white. are you calling him black just because of the way he looks? shame shame

Actually he's 38 % Arab, 12% black African, 50 % white. So he pick's the least related blood line so he can be a victim and play the race card.

In other words a pathetic small man blames others for his inability to lead.

If we are around 20yrs from now I am curious to see what the History books will show on this numbnutz.

Maybe he'll have the records sealed on his presidency too, and we can all wake up some day thinking it was just a BAD DREAM!

Thinking of possible options, without burdening employers any further with paid time off...

-- We could lump him and MLK day together and declare it Black Monday, as they did with Presidents' Day.

-- Or, I would say we could toss him in with the rest of them on Presidents' Day, but he doesn't deserve that degree of respect.

-- Most befitting would be to declare Barack Obama Day officially... April 1, of every year, and not allow anyone to have the day off.
