Suggested external battery packs for thermal

I have the same problem. The current draw isn’t enough to keep the power pack turned on. If you use a cable to connect the two ports on the power core it will go into override and stay on for 2 hours. Look for Anker battery packs with the trickle charge feature.
 
I just carry extra batteries for my Rattler. Nothing to come loose. You can go the rechargeable route. Changing in the field is not a problem, about a minute in the dark, much quicker in light. Mine run 4 hrs easy, not recording or transmitting to iphone. But I'm not trying to sell anything, just hunting and a 4hr stint is all I can take anyway. Now the ATN mono needs recharging just before the hunt.
