For Sale: Open reed rabbit/pup distress turned out of stabilized, spalted pecan dyed Aztec Gold. I don’t have much of this pecan left, when it is gone it is gone. It turns, finishes, and sounds very nice.

Tone board is hand cut and tuned from Delrin. The basic cut came from hole “B16” on my tone board cutting jig, which makes it more of a distress board than a howler board. It does a good high pitch prey or pup distress, whines, and pup howls.

$40 will put it to your door here in the US.

Lockrotor bought this call, and then asked if I could make a closed reed to match. I was not sure if I could. I do not have but a few pieces of this wood left and was not sure if I could get a match. I found a blank that worked though! Turned out to be a really nice set.
