Usually #3 for me, but I shoot rifles that don't splash and I don't care about fur damage. Except some days if I am shooting good and feeling bloody I go for #1. Mostly they go down hard if you shoot them in the face.
probably a 3, but it would depend on how solid my rest was and how frisky i was feeling that day. a 1 or 2 would totally be on the list if i'm supported well and not feeling twitchy
