And the Germans, Swedish, Italians, Czechs, Austrians, Hungarians and Bulgarians all make very nice accurate combo guns. And all work better than a Savage 24, even the little Chiappa is a better thought out combo gun than the Sav and yes I owned a Sav 24 in 223/20ga long enough to learn it's short comings, if you can live with open sights, slow barrel selection, marginal regulation, poor trigger and slow second shot a 24 might work for you.
