I do carry the Outlaw slings. I do not carry Eberlestock. Eberlestocks are nice packs though. I have a Gunslinger II from Eberlestock I'm trying out this spring. I think it'll be great when I need the backpack. I have used the Outlaw sling over a tactical pack. It actually works better than you would think.

I believe you are right that you would have a problem with the bipod.
