deer are hurting this year i only found 12 and i've found 14.5 elk sheds this year

here is the total of elk sheds i have now - 1 i found last saterday

3 mulie sheds
1 elk horn
1 nice moose horn
4 sets of whitey sheds
4 single whitey sheds

The elk shed down lower on the private ground because of all the snow we got in april, and totally hosed my shed hunting.

Where we hunt in Southern Ohio we build traps for collecting sheds rather then walking to find them.
We use 4 metal fence posts and wrap them up in a criss-cross pattern with barbed wire and keep the whole thing 2 to 3 feet squared. We put corn on the ground in the middle of them and end up getting quite a few antlers inside our 'fenced' feeding stations.
if a buck looses one inside our little caged in are the other one is usually not too far away.
