I only use it when I plan on sitting alot and walking a little. I decided to go with the T/C for a walking gun. I had a lot of gear and a long hike to this guy. I'm glad I went with the lighter 223. Besides, my AR isn't a freehand gun on small targets, this thumbhole shoots very well off the ground.
