ok .257 weatherby or .260 ???

In fact, I had this dilemma Saturday. The .260 in the Savage 11 combo with Nikon Scope and Accutrigger: $479. Ammo about $32.

Weatherby Vanguard s2 in .257 Wby = $479... Ammo $74.

I just bought a Vanguard Lazermark in 257 Weatherby Mag. looking forward to shooting it too. I don't care if the barrel is toast after 1200 rounds. The barrel has threads on it, it can be replaced in 10 years or so.
 
I was going to get a 25-06 in a Weatherby Vanguard, but BUD'S run a sale and the 257 was the same price, so I wound up with the 257. I can't find anything wrong with 257 Roy, 25-06, or 260!
