My first triple!!

Gonzaga, here are the pictures of the shooting sticks you wanted. They are 3/8 inch fiberglass electric fenceposts that you can buy at any farm supply store. I think they cost about $1.59. The cradle is black fuel line and the pivot point are two green castration bands. I painted it a camo grey for sitting in the prairie grass and sagebrush.
For in the snow I can make another set and leave unpainted or take some sandpaper and run up and down the sticks a couple of times to bring out the white color.

It must be in the water....After reading your post, I see that there are two people using these fiberglass posts for shooting sticks. Do you get fiberglass slivers from yours? I saw some in the store the other day that were covered with epoxy paint or something like that. I think I will make another set with those to get rid of the slivers. Their great, light, cheap and easy to carry. Good shootin.
