I’m with you I know the partitions normally don’t shoot worth the darn but for some reason in my 300 ultra mag I can get the 180 grain partition golds to Cloverleaf with a pretty healthy load of IMR 7828. The 200 grain regular versions not so much. I have a box of the 200 grain I used for a black bear without outstanding results. I have a box of the 260 grain partitions in .375’s I loaded up for the same purpose with just a random load for a 25 yard over bait shot but ended up using the 300 last time around. I think they were around an inch at 25 yards lol which I didn’t care with either load because I knew it was gonna be within spitting distance.
