These @#$%&* idiots we have in place. Voted for this stimulas bill before they even knew what it was about. Over 1000 pages long!!!! They should all be fired ASAP!!!
$300,000,000 for electric golf carts!!!! I forget how many million for some stupid swamp mouse in California!!!! We kill mice here in Iowa. Now someone explain to me how giving millions to a mouse is going to jump start the economy? Leave it alone and capitalism will return the economy. I am so mad I can't even see straight. I have repeatedly called on those 3-4 members and mods here at PM who supported Obama to argue in favor of this big pork bill, his first piece of significant legislation.

I'm still waiting for a response.

what is the website where I can find out how each member voted, Im not sure how our guys did, Im sure poorly, since they are all democrats. Id just like to know before I send another letter to them. Im also curious to know if there is a way to get rid of these jokers if they did, special election etc. cause Im sure after this fiasco there are a few more people that have had enough of the "pelosi". I doubt it would ever happen but if enough people started to talk about it, it might get their attention.

Who am i kidding, lets face it most of our delegations dont even live in their states anymore, they are so disconected from the people they represent that they couldnt possibly make decisions that are in our best interest, this just proves it.

I dont really get into the political part of this forum but I just really need to get this off my chest. i think everyone should pull their Ira's and 401k's the reason we save them is to defer the taxes, now its completely obvious the taxes of the future is going to go way up in order to pay this load of crap off. why save your money so you can pay higher taxes in the future.
I'd rather go threw a depression then have my grand kids and great grand kids pay for this bail out.
bankrupt the banks and stock markets.
pay the penalties and taxes now on our retirements then we might have enough in taxes to pay for our own generations screwed up economy.
I'm sick of this new government it is time to take this nation back by force. if everyone showed how upset they are by pulling out of banking and the stock markets, that would force them out.
OR
we can pull our Ira's and 401's then put them back within 90 days and not pay penalty and taxes but in that 90 days the government WOULD sit up and take notice.
if we could set a date and all republicans do it at the same time we could let this bankrupt the Dem's, banks and stock markets for a week or two then buy back in. you can bet we would get their undivided attention. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

Hey Java, I am sure some of those you are refering to are prolly banging their head against a brick wall asking themselves "What have I done?", Or at least that is what they should be doing! Dont you just love how the left was screaming bloody murder when Bush was spending money on protecting this country, now we got a socialist that will spend nearly a trillion dollars on worthless scat! How long has he been in office now? GEEZ!
 
I have the feeling the seats those 3 goons hold are going to be targeted by the democrats in the next election. So a back room deal was in order to get their vote, something like this......We will let you run unchallenged but ahhh we are going to need your vote on this.

These people are completely out of touch with reality. They talk billion here trillion there like it mere monopoly money, too bad at this point thats about all its worth.

Java, as I said before I voted for Obama because I felt he was a better choice than McCain. I’m not going to explain every move he makes and most likely won’t agree with everything he supports. I have yet to see a president that I fully agree with and agree with the concept of balance of powers. I would in fact like to see the power of the White House diminished. Congress needs to step up to the plate and do their job. I’ve felt this way since Nixon was in office and each administration has reinforced this thought. So again I voted for Obama because I felt he was a better choice than McCain. Was he a better choice? Ask me in a couple of years, for now I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

Come on man. You've got to be kidding me. He begged and pleaded for congress to pass this idiotic "screw-us" package. All for what? So another "threatened" animal can get THIRTY MILLION FREAKING DOLLARS??????? Rimmy, how is that helping to "stimulate" the economy?
