you wont find 5 incidents where not reloading was a major cause of failure during a gunfight. as was mentioned above practice is critical to using a gun in a real gunfight, but a complicated gun is far worse. I can't get my wife to the range enough to make her proficient and confidant with an auto loading handgun, but she is very confidant using a wheel gun as her friends also carry revolvers. I have survived 2 gunfights in my life so far, Why? The other guy didn't really know how to use his gun as well as I did. We are very comfortable with our decision to have "just 5 shots" available.
