Gun serial number finder Year look up

Can anyone give me a website that i can type in the serial number and find the year of a gun

This is normally brand associated...for instance the Winchester boys at several collector sites have that tool, savage shooters the same...If you have a Blue Book of gun values, it has a limited section in the back that you can use to look up dates of manufacture...I am not aware of a master site that provides info on all the makers for free.
