When I was generator shopping several years ago I had the idea of just going with the Honda EU3000 instead of having to buy 2 of the EU2000's for my travel trailer, I was about to pay for the 3000 when the guy at the honda shop happened to mention, that a EU3000 doesent have enough AMPs to "START" a Roof Top AC Unit on a camper (13,500 BTU & up) 3500 cranking amps are needed to start them properly, yes they can start on less but you end up messing the AC's up by doing so.
So I ended up buying a pair of the EU2000's off Craigslist from a retired couple, who decided they weren't gonna camp anywhere that didn't have full hookups. So I ended up with a pair with the parallel option for $1750 oh yeah they had been run 2 or 3 times for a couple hours.
Plus when I only need a little power I only run one & they are only 50 something pounds each so they are fairly easy to move around, Yes I do carry one in each hand & its a little awkward but definitely easier than lifting a 70 or 80 lbs. genny out of the bed of the truck every time I need it.
