favorite powder for the 223, 22-250 and 243.

I know I know I know "what ever your rifle likes" but what does YOUR rifle like just kind of want some idea picking some up tomorrow. Thanks. P.S. need some for all three cals. would be nice to get one for all three or for just the 223 and 22-250 then one for 243. Thanks again!!!

Varget for all three, but I find H380 to be the best for 22-250.

whats the point of loading if you dont need MOA at 100? personally the point of reloading is to get the absolute most smallest groups i can get. if you dont care if you are moa why not just go buy the cheapest ammo you can get and just shoot that and save yourself the time of reloading.

The first one on my list for each caliber has been what I have found to give me the best groups for each bullet that I shoot. If I change bullet weight then I have a different powder that gave me great results. I wouldn't get to hung up on trying to find one powder to cover all 3 calibers. If you try then you could give up something on one caliber that just by changing a powder you could pick up. Just what I have found.

I will agree Win 748 for the 223 and IMR4064 for the 250.

AA 2230...works in all 3 calibers, so you are looking at the "best" in terms of saving money and very adequate (for hunting)accuracy.

moa at 100 is the same as moa at 1000, roughly 1" at 100 and 10" at 1000
