Favorite Animal

Our teacher asked us what our
favorite animal was, and I said, "Fried Chicken." She said
I wasn't funny, but she couldn't have been right,
everyone else in the class laughed. My parents told me to always
be truthful and honest, and I am. Fried Chicken is my favorite animal.

I told my dad what happened, and he said my teacher was probably
a member of PETA. He said they love animals very much.

I do, too. Especially chicken, pork and beef.

Anyway, my teacher sent me to the
principal's office. I told him what happened, and he laughed too.
Then he told me not to do it again.

The next day in class my teacher asked me what my favorite LIVE animal
was. I told her it was chicken.

She asked me why, just like she'd asked the other children.
So I told her it was because you could make them into fried chicken.
She sent me back to the principal's office again.

He laughed, and told me not to do it again.
I don't understand. My parents taught me to be honest,
but my teacher doesn't like it when I am.

Today, my teacher asked us to tell her what famous person we
admire most. I told her, "Colonel Sanders".

Guess where I am
now...???

Jackrabbits and Coyotes are my favorites. I can kill them any time of the year if I choose to and after I kill one I can walk away and kill another one. No cleaning, no proccesing, no BS to deal with after the shot. Just kill it.

No I don't eat rabbits, I shoot jackrabbits and leave the cottontails alone for someone that will eat them. I don't hunt for food, it's for fun.

I was taught that if you shoot it your going to eat it. Not trying to start something just never heard that jackrabbits are bad to eat, we don't have very many here just cottontails and snowshoes.

I was raised on some good Venison and Quail cooking, but a few years ago I was up in North Dakota and attended a cookout put on by their Department of Conservation where they were serving Moose Burgers... That has to be some of the best eating I've ever enjoyed....I made a Bona fide Pig of myself...

catkiller, i've heard of those but read that you can tell if the animal hat it by looking at the liver, if it has spots you throw it away if not, your good to go. But can you explain why there not a problem in the winter? thanks

We eat Rabbit in the winter here, but the rodents and small game have fleas that carry bubonic plauge!
