Mine loved 40 gr hp remington. CCI 40 gr. hp a close second. Appears both of these are the exact projectile but the box says different velocity.

How dirty is the Remington stuff in WMR? I stopped running Remington in my long rifles a long time ago because of to much build up. Remington brand will plug up my 10/22 faster than anything.

I didn't find the Remington ammo any more dirty than anything else I have used. The accuracy was superb, however. I haven't used that load for anything other than crows and starlings, so not sure how it might perform on larger critters.

I have a new .22 mag rifle now (Ruger 77/22) that shoots Winchester 40 gr. hollow points really well.
