Coon calling

Usually do if it's a spot where I think there are some coons in the area. Sometimes you can salvage a stand that way. We call coons all the time with our calls. It's a lot of fun. Usually, it takes under 5 minutes.

We hunted them last weekend here and had 4 we seen in the timber but they never got close enough for a shot. I really don't know what we were doing wrong. But we have some good stands though.

Tried this morning and got one up outa bed. Once it touched ground I lost sight of it. Still gave me a rush none the less!

I went out Thursday afternoon and killed 7. Seen 12. Still waiting to kill my first coyote with the caller though.
